Jinty Smart
Biography taken from 1998 (Sorcerer) programme: Jinty Smart was born in Edinburgh and has lived in her favourite city all of her life. She works in the office of the Junior School of George Watson's College. Her desire to combine acting and singing, as she loves both, prompted her to join the G&S society "many years ago when she was young and charming". Jinty and Max, her husband, enjoy a busy schedule of concert appearances throughout the year for many different organisations and have experienced happy evenings of music in some surprising and unusual venues! Lady Sangazure is a role which Jinty has not played before. The unusual aspect of this character is that she does not have one word of dialogue. However there is still a lot of opportunity lurking in the music and the plot! Performing Credits:
