George McHollan

Biography
taken from 2005 (Yeomen) programme:
George has been a
member of the Society since 1984 and has previously sung principal
roles in The Mikado, Princess Ida, The
Gondoliers and Iolanthe. He has also in the
past sung with Edinburgh Grand Opera. George is delighted to be
playing the part of Sir Richard Cholmondeley in this year’s
production of The Yeomen of the Guard after a nine
year period "out of action" due to working in Inverness.
George is now semi-retired and lives in Edinburgh with his wife
Evelyn, who is a member of the chorus (I know the value of a kindly
chorus!), and who can be seen behind the second floor window on the
left!
