Jenny Kirkland

Biography taken from 2007 (Pirates) programme:

Jenny has gone from the depths of the orchestra pit to the dizzy heights of a principal role in two short years. Her first encounter with Gilbert and Sullivan was with the St. Andrews University Orchestra when she played the cello for Iolanthe in 2001. She went on to play for the University in a number of other operas including, The Mikado and H.M.S. Pinafore. She joined the Edinburgh Gilbert and Sullivan Society last year as a member of the chorus in The Grand Duke and this year she is enjoying the sparkling waters and rocky mountains of Penzance.
